I Can't Imagine Losing Someone...

So I read an news article today on a death from Joplin, MO. Recently if you've kept with the news, Joplin was pretty well demolished from a tornado. Well, it was not a fair warned tornado and a lot of lives were lost. There were two stories in this article that really touched me. The first was of a husband who basically was a human shield for his wife and lost his life because the tornado just simply killed him. I can't imagine having someone do that for me. It's just intense to think about. That someone would value their life of your's. I don't know how I could live with it. While it is sweet I'm kind of the person who would want to shield someone so I guess that's why. The other story was of a high school kid who had just recently graduated and was coming home with his dad. When the tornado came, the roof of the car just ripped off and sucked up into it. All that was left was his diploma and his graduation hat. How awful! It was these stories that really made me think how grateful I am that my family is alive and well.

I just wanted to share that.

Thanks

Mark

Claire's Brush Sets

So, this will be my official first review on my new blog! YAY! I feel better already just typing rather than speaking on camera. Soon... eventually... I'll go back to it. We'll see. Anywho, on to review. I got these brushes about a year ago. And I have to say overall for how much I paid on them I'm really impressed. Now this will be most positive review you'll see from me because I kinda feel bad after my big downer review on the infamous Glitter Palette. LOL So, here are my pro's and con's on it.

The brush set came with:

Medium Sized Face Brush
Sponge Tip Applicator
Large Cream Base Brush
Small Cream Base Brush
Angle Liner Brush

Overall I give them a 3 out of 5 stars. Here's why:

Pros:
Cheap! I only paid around here $8 for them.

They had a cheap version of a brush I could use for paint pots, cream bases, etc. Two sizes!

The rainbow design was fun and something I'd never had before on brushes. When the design came off it came off a nice shade of black.

The best brushes out of the set in my opinion is the powder brush and the angle liner brush. But I think the cream based ones are decent. You could do better though.

Cons:
Cheap. LOL

As I expected for what I paid... the brush fibers did end up after awhile coming out the sides. Not supposed to happen but like I said... expected.

Also expected... the pretty design came off the handles after awhile. Oh well. NBD I can live with it.

The brushes were white with brown tips. They are now stained. NBD

If you don't know what NBD for reference: No Big Deal

Overall though I'd say they were a good purchase. Would I purchase again? If I was in a pinch and needed those brushes... sure! Would they be good starter brushes for girls? Yep!

Here's my brushes now:

Under Construction

So, I'm making some changes on on here... and really quickly. I've decided I think I'm going to pick back up blogging again... but more regularly. I'm tired of not doing something make up related anymore. However, I don't want to commit to doing make up videos really right now. So I think I'm going to start doing reviews on here on various make up items I use along the lines that I love.

Well, hope all is well with your world.

What's Been Going On?

OK. So it's been awhile since I've been on YouTube or my social network sites. There's a reason for that. The first and most being... My computer is having MAJOR issues this week. It has several viruses or something on it. So I'm going to get it either fixed by me through advice.. or checked out by a friend. We'll see. Something else... as you can tell from my last video. I'm not too happy with the quality of video I got from the Nikon lately. I'd like to either figure out how to do better videos with it or get a new HD flip camera from Wal-Mart. I've been looking at them. Thinking that would be a good thing. Jason knows it might be needed in the future. LOL Jason's my boyfriend, btw. He's really awesome. He's a composer. He lives with my parents and I. Next, I've been really busy.... but also... when not... lazy. In fact, I just got back from a trip from St. Louis last week and haven't blogged about it nor done a haul about my trip to MAC! Yes! MAC Anywho, the next thing... I'm kinda stressed out. My job... the place I work for is closing. :( So that means I'm looking for a new job. Jason and I are doing well though. :D He's been putting in submissions to composition contests and entries. I'm so excited. I hope that this is our year! I can just feel that it's our year. So many good things have already happened this year. And I just see that job I'm losing as a close to a chapter... but also a opening of something new. Who knows what will take me next? This weekend I'm going to really try to do a couple videos to get you guys kept on on things. It may not look super... but I'll be here. :D

Well, that's what's been on my mind.

Much Love,

Mark

First Blog Post on Here!

Hey everyone! I have a feeling this is going to be a great blog. This is my first entry! YAY! I'm planning on putting all my YouTube activity on one central place so that everyone can come here and it will be all Mark and Chastity at your disposal! One place. That's right. Won't have to go to my Facebook or three YouTubes to get to it. I will be sharing everything silly and everything that I go through in life. Right here. I'll be showing if I do a new food dish and show pics. I just think it will be fun times! So I hope that you decide to follow this.

Much Love!
